Things a Parent of a Cub Scout needs to Know:

We are very excited to have your family join us in Cub Scouting I always look forward to seeing these boys grow during their Cub Scout experience. In order to make this a growing time for your family we need your help. During pack meetings there will be songs, skits, run-ons, cheers, games, and other activities. Be involved, be as silly as the Cub Master or set new standards for the Cub Master to reach. The boys love your participation and I hope you will let this be a time to bond with your boy, you can create memory’s for life.
Cub Scouting has a purpose, method, and ideals that will prepare your family for the future. We want our pack to be a positive place for the boys.
Yearly activities:
Blue and Gold Banquet: February for Parents and Cubs only
Day Camp: During summer At camp Kiesel or Camp Fife
We plan on rotating between Pinewood Derby, Space Derby, and Rain gutter Regatta during the three years of Cub Scouting. This is a chance to spend time with your boy. You may not win the contest. But your boy stands a better chance of winning in life if your by his side.
Faith In God:
This is a religious award that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform as the boy gets older. It has to be earned before he turns eleven. We like to present it while he is a Webelos Scout. Your church has the requirements.
